About

I have a passion for craft and woodworking, and have spent many years as a hobby making bespoke pieces of furniture and taking on commissions for our home, family and friends in my spare time.

For the last 6 years I’ve also been enrolled on the furniture making class at Warwickshire College under the wonderful supervision of Jamie Ward, where I’ve been able to hone my skills and develop this passion.

I’ve now decided to take the plunge, retire from my management consultant career, and apply this skill full time.

Having studied art and graphic design at school, and engineering and university, I’m drawn towards the design of bespoke projects where off-the-shelf products just don’t work. This may be a solution for those awkward spaces such as under the stairs, or something just unique and one-off.

Following an initial conversation to understand the brief and requirements of the work, I’ll start the design process, typically using 3D modelling software to help visualise what the final design will look like and work with you to refine as necessary. I’m quite the perfectionist so agreeing those finer details of the design are all so important!

Some of my previous commissions are on the website, so please take a look as they may inspire some ideas of your own.

I look forward to working with you in the future.

Best wishes,

Steve
